On Saturday, it was a true "wet coast" kind of wedding. Sarah and Karsten had their wedding at the Arbutus Point B & B, on Salt Spring Island. Days leading up to the wedding, we knew it was going to rain for the all outdoor event.....but what can you do? Guests, and wedding party just made the most of it and sheltered the ceremony site with a blanket of umbrellas, and for the bride and groom portraits, they grabbed a couple of drinks and just went for it. Kelli (my assistant/second shooter), was brilliant and purchased two rain ponchos for the major part of our shooting. Hey, we weren't all that stylish, but we rocked the shoot, and managed to stay dry! Ha!
A huge congratulations to Sarah & Karsten, you are going to have great story of your day, and some fantastic memories!
