As I get ready to update my website again for the year, I'v stumbled across a few images that I have fallen in love with all over again. Black & white images to me are always fascinating. They are timeless, elegant and classy. Back in the day at WAP (my photo school) when we shot B & W film mostly, I remember sitting and looking at the contact sheets, with all these images just popping off the page at me.
Now that I am shooting digital, and it's as easy as pressing a button to make the image black & white, I still find myself shooting images that I can picture in a black & white format. Here are a couple from this past year that are good examples of this thought process.
